2. Booking Appointments

Appointments may be made by telephone, email, online, or in person.

Whilst every effort is made to honour appointment times, delays may occasionally occur due to unforeseen circumstances, emergency repairs, late delivery of parts, or additional work required during vehicle inspection.

Appointment times are therefore estimates and are not guaranteed.

3. Estimates and Quotations

Any quotation provided by YE CORNER TYRES LTD is based on the information available at the time.

If additional faults or repairs are discovered after work has commenced, we will contact you for authorisation before carrying out any additional work where reasonably practicable.

Estimates are not fixed quotations unless expressly confirmed in writing.

4. Customer Authorisation

By leaving your vehicle with us or approving work remotely, you authorise YE CORNER TYRES LTD to carry out the agreed repairs or services.

Where additional repairs become necessary for safety or operational reasons, we will make reasonable efforts to obtain your approval before proceeding.

5. Parts and Materials

We use genuine, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), or high-quality aftermarket parts depending on customer preference, vehicle requirements, and parts availability.

Where customers specifically request lower-cost alternatives, YE CORNER TYRES LTD cannot accept responsibility for reduced performance or lifespan associated with those products.

All removed parts remain the property of YE CORNER TYRES LTD unless the customer requests their return before repairs are completed.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to retain possession of the vehicle until payment has been received in full, in accordance with applicable UK law.

Accepted payment methods may include:

• Bank Transfer
• Other approved payment methods

Late payments may incur additional charges where permitted by law.

7. Vehicle Collection

Customers are requested to collect their vehicle promptly once notified that repairs have been completed.

Vehicles left uncollected for an extended period may incur reasonable storage charges.

If a vehicle remains uncollected for a prolonged period and reasonable attempts to contact the owner have failed, YE CORNER TYRES LTD reserves the right to exercise its legal rights regarding abandoned vehicles.

8. MOT Testing

MOT inspections are carried out in accordance with current Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) regulations.

An MOT certificate confirms only that the vehicle met the required legal standards at the time of inspection.

An MOT certificate is not a guarantee of the future mechanical condition or continued roadworthiness of the vehicle.

Any repairs required following an MOT failure are chargeable unless otherwise agreed.

9. Tyres

Customers are responsible for ensuring the correct tyre specification is selected for their vehicle.

Our technicians will provide professional advice based on manufacturer recommendations where possible.

Following tyre fitting, customers should:

• Recheck wheel nut torque where recommended.
• Monitor tyre pressures regularly.
• Have wheel alignment checked if uneven tyre wear develops.

Puncture repairs are carried out in accordance with recognised industry repair standards. Not every punctured tyre can be safely repaired.

10. Wheel Alignment

Wheel alignment improves steering geometry but cannot rectify faults caused by:

• Worn suspension components
• Damaged steering components
• Bent wheels
• Accident damage
• Incorrect tyre pressures

Where such defects are identified, repairs may be recommended before alignment adjustments can be completed.

11. Diagnostics

Vehicle diagnostics identify stored fault codes and system irregularities.

Diagnostic testing does not always identify every mechanical or electrical fault, particularly intermittent issues.

Further investigation or dismantling may be necessary to accurately diagnose certain problems.

Diagnostic charges apply regardless of whether repairs are subsequently authorised.

12. Mechanical Repairs

Repair completion times are estimates only.

Unexpected issues may arise once components are dismantled, particularly on older vehicles.

Additional labour or replacement parts may be required to complete repairs safely.

13. Mobile Tyre Fitting

Our Mobile Tyre Fitting Service is subject to safe working conditions.

We reserve the right to refuse or postpone mobile work where:

• The location is unsafe.
• Weather conditions create unacceptable risks.
• Adequate working space is unavailable.
• The vehicle cannot be safely lifted.

Call-out charges may apply where appointments are cancelled after our technician has been dispatched.

14. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

• Provide accurate vehicle information.
• Remove valuables before leaving the vehicle.
• Ensure locking wheel nut keys are supplied where required.
• Inform us of any existing faults or modifications.
• Notify us of any security devices or immobiliser systems that may affect repairs.

YE CORNER TYRES LTD accepts no responsibility for personal belongings left inside vehicles.

15. Warranty

We provide a warranty on qualifying parts and workmanship in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty and applicable consumer legislation.

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Accident damage
• Misuse
• Neglect
• Improper maintenance
• Third-party repairs
• Racing, motorsport, or commercial misuse unless specifically agreed

Warranty claims must be reported as soon as reasonably possible after the issue becomes apparent.

16. Limitation of Liability

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited by UK law.

Subject to applicable legislation, YE CORNER TYRES LTD shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses
• Loss of earnings
• Loss of business
• Alternative transport costs
• Delays caused by parts availability
• Manufacturer recalls
• Events beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where UK law provides otherwise.

17. Cancellation Policy

Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled by contacting us as early as possible.

Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may result in a booking deposit being required for future appointments.

Special order parts may be non-refundable once ordered.

18. Privacy

Any personal information collected during the course of providing our services will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

19. Force Majeure

YE CORNER TYRES LTD shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, supplier delays, industrial action, power failures, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events.

20. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
